Craig Gentry
Craig Gentry is the CTO of TripleBlind.
Previously, Craig worked at the Algorand Foundation as a Research Fellow, helping to build core technologies for the Algorand blockchain and to develop its economics and ecosystem from pre-launch to relative maturity. He also worked at IBM Research and DoCoMo USA Labs as a researcher specializing in cryptography. His work in cryptography has over 40000 citations and includes the first fully homomorphic encryption system, for which he won the ACM Grace Murray Hopper Award and the MacArthur Award. He also has highly cited work on zero knowledge proofs, aggregate signatures, identity-based encryption, program obfuscation and lattice-based cryptography. He was named a Fellow of the International Association of Cryptologic Research (IACR) in 2021.
Craig holds a Ph.D. in computer science from Stanford University, and his thesis won the ACM Doctoral Dissertation Award. He also holds a J.D. from Harvard Law and a B.S. in mathematics from Duke University.
